| With this target group of students, we mainly want to explore a world they already know quite well. From a young age, children have been introduced to the world of animals through their stuffed animals, pets, exploring farms, the zoo, and walking by ponds and in parks. The wonder is always great, small animals seem cute, large animals can also instill some fear in them. Animals evoke various stimuli and are among the oldest memories. The animal kingdom is an ideal subject to introduce children to the art world, to teach them that besides humans, animals have always existed, even 400 to 500 years ago. It can sometimes surprise them that animals have occasionally appeared in a different context. |
